Three good reasons to discover the ephemeral restaurant of the Metropole

Located on the roof of the hotel, facing the pool and reserved only for residents of the off-season, the Odyssey restaurant opens today for local and outdoor customers of the Metropole. At the helm of his kitchen, the Spanish chef Rodrigo de la Calle offers unique dishes based on vegetables and adaptable to all diets. Here are our three reasons to discover this tasty and different cuisine.

A unique menu for small and big eaters

A sweet and savory culinary journey awaits the future customers of the restaurant. Aperitif, drinks and food are included in this unique menu at a rate of 139 € per person where the dishes are as varied as the drinks. Notice to gourmands, in total nearly 17 dishes will be served. All accompanied by a cocktail specially created by the chef and his brigade, which will satisfy the taste buds of small and large eaters. And despite the originality of the dishes, the Spanish chef also offers a homecoming with a “purée style Robuchon” revisited. A tribute to his friend and famous chef who died last year.

Flavors that awaken the taste buds and the senses

Courgette flowers with peppers, rolling paella, water with spirulina or tomato brioche. Everything is there. On the palate, the contrast of flavors sparkle without attacking the taste buds. In this gastronomic journey, vegetable and animal proteins sublimate vegetables. But this does not end here. Farewell wine, beer or any classic drink, with the cuisine of Rodrigo de la Calle, the customer rediscovers flavors of yesteryear, such as that of hydromiel or absinthe.

A useful souvenir

And so that the experience remains rooted in people’s hearts, the Odyssey offers a gift to every person at the table. These are the clay glasses used by the customers and in which water spirulina was poured all evening. A lasting memory of the gastronomic journey “green” proposed by the establishment.

This ephemeral restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday during the dinners of the months of July and August.
