This Wednesday was the third edition of the Senior Games at the Espace Léo Ferré. A friendly day with a true spirit of competition.
Monegasque seniors have clashed in three disciplines: belote, darts and petanque. Three competitions to decide the four teams. The Amicale des Aînés monégasques, the Hector Otto Foundation, the Club Le Temps de Vivre and the beneficiaries of the City Hall’s home help fought all afternoon on Wednesday 16th October.
A lunch, then the competition
The 80 participants first took part in a lunch offered by the Hall Town. Georges Marsan, the mayor, opened the festivities with a speech and the competition could start under the watchful and caring eyes of the municipal teams. At 5pm, the results were announced and the Amicale des Ainés Monégasques drew its pin from the Games, winning the belote and the petanque. With the highest number of points on all events, the Amicale keeps the Trophée des vainqueurs for the third consecutive year.
