The officine Deloitte has chosen Monaco to host the 12th edition of the Art & Finance Conference, where professionals from the domain have discussed various topics.
«There is no better place in the world to address this theme than Monaco», said Jean Castellini, Government Councillor – Minister of Finance and Economy opening the 2019 edition of Art & Finance. The Principality is full of artists, collectors and private bankers, “who have the expertise to advise very demanding clients in the management and diversification of their assets”. The event brought together 350 participants from 28 countries, a group of international experts and local actors.
“Interaction, the key to success”
Various topics were discussed, including the art collection in the era of greater transparency, the art on yachts, the evolution of the art market by 2030, technology at the service of art or the impact of virtual reality on private museums. The Government Councillor – Minister recalled: “Today, art has become a real market, and the interaction between artists, collectors, investors, sales houses and new technologies is the key to success.
