Digital security, Monaco Telecom will launch two free applications this summer

The Monegasque telecommunications operator is deploying a new government-funded Internet security solutions service in several months and in collaboration with F-Secure, a globally multi-award winning player in the development of security solutions.

Monaco Care Safety and Monaco Care Password are the two new applications offered by Monaco Telecom to secure smartphones, computers or tablets. All residents subscribing to the Internet in Monaco will be able to access these solutions, available in july. “These applications will allow you to navigate, store data and carry out secure banking transactions, as well as have an anti-virus or activate features such as parental control“, said Martin Peronnet, general manager of Monaco Telecom.

How to subscribe?

We will send an email to all our customers offering to send their information to F-Secure so that the company activates the free account. Each person remains decision-maker of his security“, explains Martin Peronnet. Thus, once the data is transferred, customers will benefit from the proposed solutions.

Free for individuals, these services will also be accessible to professionals, being “more reinforced” they will give rise to specific billing. In total, five licenses per subscriber will be proposed. These services will be compatible with different computers (PC, MAC) and operating systems (Android and iOS).
