The Control and Information Service for Financial Circuits (SICCFIN) is currently strengthening the security of its IT system and installing the strategic and operational analysis support software, goAML.
Soon, finance professionals will be able to submit suspicious transaction reports electronically thanks to the increased analytical capacity of the IT system of financial circuits. As part of this project the Monegasque financial intelligence unit decided to implement the goAML software, designed and developed by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
February will be crucial for SICCFIN agents who will be trained for a week on how to use this tool and understand its multiple functionalities. A meeting will be conducted by SICCFIN and UNODC for the Principality’s banking institutions on 7th February.
