Winners of the 43rd Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival: Gold for Martin Lacey Junior and for Gia Eradze’s Royal Circus

The list of winners was revealed this morning! Golden clown for the wild animal trainer, Martin Lacey Junior, who has already been awarded at the 34th festival, as well as for all the presentations of Gia Eradze’s Royal Circus, a first for this multifaceted Georgian artist.  “The prizes awarded in Monaco could be compared to medals obtained at the Olympic Games. Whether one obtains a prize in Monaco or not, it is already a huge recognition and above all a very great satisfaction to be here. “said Gia Eradze at the press conference on Sunday 20th January.

In addition to these awards numerous special prizes are attributed every year. Thus a special “Pauline Ducruet” prize for the most beautiful costume design was awarded to Gia Eradze.
