Only three days to go until the MC Summer Concert

12 July 2019 - 14h39

On Monday 15th July, the first MC Summer Concert will take place for young people in the Principality. Selected by the young people themselves, three artists will open the concert at 8.10 pm while the young DJ Kungs will light up the Salle des Étoiles of the Sporting from 10 pm. A practical point three days from the event…

The results of the baccalaureate fell and, with an overall success rate of 99.08% after the catch-up oral, the young people of the Principality deserved their holidays! For the occasion, the National Council, the government and the town hall coordinated to organize the first edition of the MC Summer Concert, a concert reserved for young Monegasques, residents or schoolchildren of the Principality, aged 13 to 25. If the young phenomenon DJ Kungs was already confirmed as the headliner of the event, the choice of artists who will precede him on the mythical stage of the Salle des Étoiles was up to the young people themselves. From 8.10 pm, British singer and dancer Rory O’Shea will open the ball. He will be followed by pop/dance singer Pab Emson from 8.35 pm and 21-year-old Monegasque artist Olivia Dorato from 9.10 pm. Kungs will take over the stage at 10 pm.

Two CAM buses for the return

Tickets, free of charge, were to be withdrawn at the Grimaldi Forum from June 18th and will still be available until tomorrow, from 10 am to 8 pm, with a restriction of two tickets per person. A proof (Monegasque ID card, resident card or parent-teacher contact book) will be requested for the withdrawal of the place as well as at the entrance of the concert, whose doors will open from 7 pm. Pedestrian arrival will be via the driveway next to the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel, while the motorized public will be able to access the parking lot of the Salle des Étoiles. Spectators with invitations will benefit from access to the Jimmy’z car park. At the end of the concert, two CAM buses will rotate from the concert hall towards the Jardin exotique and St Roman. Note that various items will be prohibited (helmets, backpacks, drinks, cameras…), a left-luggage office will be available on site as well as an open ticket office and a charged bar (soft drinks only).
