The no-made contemporary art collective is once again moving to the Villa Le Roc Fleuri, in Cap d’Ail, from September 7th to 27th, for a major exhibition in its gardens. On the theme “Building”, the event focuses on architectural achievements in the particular context of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus movement.
During a scenography located in the garden and simulating the pieces of a building that each artist will invest, the exhibition will revolve around two lines of research: the realization as a perceptible act of artistic gesture in relation to his environment, construction and pre-construction study such as plan, concept, organization, forecasting, steps, procedures… At the heart of the whole is the reflection on the verb “to build”. After the opening of the exhibition scheduled for Friday, September 6th, starting at 5 pm, the event will be open to the public every day from 1 pm to 7 pm at a price of two euros per person.
The no-made association, created almost 20 years ago, has already organized about fifty exhibitions in the region and a first at the villa Le Roc Fleuri from 2001. Among the artists presented this year are Caterina Aicardi, Maria Amos, Tom Barbagli, Joan Bettini, Lorenzo Biagi, Cathie Cotto, Jean and Véronique Daloni, Alex Devaud, Louis Dollé and many others, bringing the total to more than one thirty of them.
