A delegation of the club bouliste monégasque has moved to the boulodrome de Lyon for the European Champion Clubs’ Cup which brings together 27 entities. At the end of qualifying, Monaco finished second in their pool and qualified for the final.
Spread into four pools of qualifying, the European teams met from July 25 to 28 at the Boulodrome de Lyon. The Monegasque delegation qualified brilliantly by finishing second in the pool, beating Denmark (24 to 7), Hungary (26 to 5), Ukraine (26 to 5), Scotland (29 to 2) , Slovenia (31-0) and losing a single match against the champion of France in title and favorite of the competition, the club of Lyon.
Rendez-vous from 29 November to 1 December in Saint-Yrieix-sur-Charente for the finals with the other qualified champions: France, Denmark, Hungary, Poland and Finland, among others.
Monaco, champion in 2011
This is the essential event for the boulistes since 1998. Since then Monaco has reached the podium only once in 2011. Today, the Monegasque delegation has one goal in mind, win the championship and return with the title in the pocket.
