As every year, the high school of visual arts, Pavillon Bosio, proposes to discover, the works of the graduates of the previous year. “Landscapes borrowed” is available from Saturday, June 29 to Sunday, September 15, from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm, in the Marcel Kroenlein room at the Jardin Exotique.
Sculptures, videos, drawings, painting … A multitude of works decorate the place. A unique theme : the botanical garden in the era of the media and whose exhibition “Landscapes borrowed” illustrated the perfect metaphor. Thus, eight students worked in different media, such as videos, mapping, Youtube tutorials or searches “unlikely” on Google, explains the school on its website. An “immaterial” representation of this garden, only possible thanks to the magic of the web and the sensitivity of the artists. Teaching the history of the great figures of the past and teaching emerging artists how to position themselves in this story is one of the roles of Pavillon Bosion. Thanks to this exhibition, the graduates have made a trip back in time and in the history of this magical place, anchored in the collective memory and thus developed their artistic “paw”.
