Russia in the spotlight tonight at the palace courtyard

For the third musical meeting of the OPMC in the courtyard of the Prince’s Palace, spectators will meet two renowned Russian artists, Alexander Vedernikov, director and Nikolai Lugansky, piano. On the programme, Alexander Borodin and Sergei Rachmaninov.

It is a tradition since 1959, become an unavoidable appointment of musical creation but also of interpretation of the classic works. After a concert dedicated to Dvorak and Mozart last Sunday, Alexander Verdenikov, founder of the Russian Philharmonia Symphony Orchestra, principal conductor of the Odense Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Danish Opera, will lead the concert tonight. And by his side, Nikolai Lugansky, a famous pianist on the international stage, winner of the Diapason d’Or, the Preis des deustschen Schallplattenkritik, the F. Chopin Record Grand Prix, among others. And whose new album, Ambroise, including the Schubert sonata in C minor D.958, has just been published and is already a great success
