The Fontvieille fire station has been equipped with photovoltaic panels

14 November 2019 - 10h20

299 photovoltaic panels have just been installed on the roof of the fire station.

The schools of the Parc and the Révoires, the Grimaldi Forum, the Monte-Carlo Bay hotel… and, henceforth, the fire station! The roof of the building located in Fontvieille has recently been equipped with photovoltaic panels by the Public Building Maintenance Office. The 299 panels cover an area of 490sqm and make the fire station and its 40 housings self-sufficient in electricity up to 37%. With its 113 MWh of electricity production, the facility becomes therefore the largest renewable energy (ENR) production of public buildings in Monaco!
