The comedian will open the Sérénissimes de l’humour with a show soberly baptized “60 minutes with Kheiron” on Wednesday 18th March at the salle Prince Pierre in the Grimaldi Forum. The artist promises “improvisation, dynamism and exchange with the public”.
He has easier contact with a public than face-to-face. Not really talkative, Kheiron transforms on stage on which he tells jokes at the speed of an automatic weapon. “We need a non-stop laughter”. Kheiron is not hiding from it, his leitmotif is to have a good rhythm and to joke without dead time. “The audience needs to go out of my show with a jaw ache,” the comedian says. And the recipe seems to work since it is with undisguised pride that he claims that all his shows are sold out.
“Laughing at timeless topics”
Kheiron does not bother with news but focuses on themes that he considers timeless. “I am not interested in the news. It passes. I don’t want to comment on it. I like things that are timeless, things that will always make people laugh.” He focuses on “people”. These people he meets every day, but also and especially he focuses on the public. The comedian does not hesitate to put himself in danger and plays the card of interaction with those who come to see and listen to him. And if he does not know the Principality, it does not worry him any more. “They ask me to come to the Sérénissimes de l’humour, so I come. But I come to see people, not Monegasques, so I have no judgment on Monaco, no stress.” He says that he is still “happy” to come on a stage in the Principality, even if he currently shares his time between a tour and the shooting of a new film whose release is scheduled in July.
