Tomorrow at 3:10pm, the Silver Arrows will launch from the front row. They were one second ahead the other drivers, and set a new lap record of the Silverstone circuit.
91st pole position for Lewis Hamilton and another Mercedes double in qualifying. The German team’s cars flew over the session, ahead of the other cars by a second. The Mercedes are the first F1 cars to go under the minute and 25 seconds at Silverstone! The Briton, for his home Grand Prix, set a record time of 1’24’’303. His team-mate, Valtteri Bottas, is just 0.313 behind. In the second row, we find the youth, with the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc. Monegasque team-mate Sebastian Vettel missed his quick lap and will only start from tenth position.
