Two days to give the old blankets to the homeless

20 October 2019 - 12h15

After the books and textbooks, it is the blankets that the town hall attacks with its new collection operation “Monaco is committed against the waste of blankets”, from 21 to 22 October between 13 and 18h at the Espace Léo Ferré.

Everyone is invited to leave blankets, plaids, duvets and sleeping bags clean, in very good condition, and in one person format, for the benefit of two associations. The first, Semeurs d’Espoir, aims to implement, encourage and promote any initiative of solidarity allowing a better social integration of people in situation of moral or physical distress, such as the help and the support to parenthood, improving the living environment and welcoming children, and organizing humanitarian projects to help children, poor families, orphans or children with disabilities. And the second, The Anges Gardiens de Monaco, who travels the streets of Nice to bring food, sleeping bags, blankets and hygiene products to people living on the street. Like the previous collections, this operation is organized by the town hall and MC2D.
