Caritas Monaco sent 10,000 euros to Lebanon
Thanks to last weekend's quests in the churches of Monaco and the parish of the Holy Spirit, Caritas Monaco was able to send 10,000 euros yesterday to two beneficiaries with whom the association and the diocese of Monaco are in contact in Beirut. 5,000 euros will be donated to Saint Joseph University in Beirut, which notably took care of nearly 250 families after the explosion. The contact on the spot is Father Fadi Jandah, who spent several years in the Principality. The other 5,000 euros will be donated to the parish of Saint-Maron in Beirut of Father Richard Abi Saleh, which is located 100m from the port where the explosion took place. Donations can be sent in cash or by check to the Caritas Monaco association, Sainte-Dévote church, place Sainte-Dévote 98000 Monaco or by bank transfer to the c/c Crédit Foncier de Monaco Agence de Monaco-Ville in the name of Archevêché Caritas Monaco by mentioning “payment for Lebanon”.
Two withdrawals for Herculis due to covid 19
The covid 19 test is part of the conditions for participating in the Herculis EBS meeting this evening
. All athletes had to undergo one on site or provide a PCR result less than 72 hours old. Two of them were tested positive for coronavirus and must forgo taking part in the first round of the Wanda Diamond League. They are Conseslus Kipruto (3000m. steeplechase) and Valentin Lavillenie (pole vault). "My covid 19 test carried out as part of the Herculis EBS 2020 meeting protocol was positive, I am currently asymptomatic",
wrote Renaud Lavillenie's brother on his Instagram account
. Same story on the side of the Kenyan founder, who for his part said: "I don’t have any symptoms and I was actually in great shape. Athletics is back and I will be back as well."
The Opera Garnier receives the Italian trio Il Volo
The group will perform this Friday at the Salle Garnier of the Opera de Monte-Carlo, at 8:30pm
. The doors will open at 8pm, with dress code: jacket required. Real stars in their country, the three singers do not all have the same pitch of voice: Ignazio Boschetto and Piero Barone are tenors while Gianluca Ginoble is baritone. This is the first appearance of the trio, who rose to prominence thanks to an Italian telecrochet, on a Monegasque stage. In order to mark a decade of complicity, the trio notably released, in 2019, an album retracing their career: The best of 10 years.

AS Monaco store temporarily closed
Due to the detection of a Covid 19 case, the Monegasque football club has announced that it has to temporarily close the doors of its store, located on the Honoré II promenade. "All measures have been taken to comply with the health protocols in force in Monaco," wrote the ASM on its website
. Information on the upcoming reopening "will be communicated as soon as possible".

Closure of the Moulins gallery between 10pm and 6am

Collection for Beirut
The diocese of Monaco
informs that through the Caritas association
, an international confederation of Catholic charitable organizations present in more than 200 countries and territories, it is organizing a fundraiser in favour of the inhabitants of Beirut affected by the explosions on Tuesday latest.
A collection will be organized this weekend at the end of Sunday Masses in all the churches of Monaco and the parish of the Holy Spirit (Beausoleil, Cap d´Ail, La Turbie, Peille).
