A flag to save the oceans

1 May 2019 - 10h00

The Monegasque association Passion Sea launches its new project this summer by offering flag owners to shipowners around the world, a symbol of an eco-responsible code of conduct, notably focused on reducing or eliminating the plastic on board.

Created by Helga Piaget five years ago, Passion Sea aims to educate people around the world about the importance of water and oceans, the dangers they face and the solutions that are at their fingertips. This year, the association is launching a new project whose goal is to create an international community.

This flag is a symbol because it illustrates our fight,” explains Helga Piaget. A struggle that includes young and old because even if it is surprising by its simplicity with its blue background.

We believe that education must be challenging, rewarding and engaging. This program is designed to improve the ability of people to become active members of the global community more effective, creative, productive and confident, “smiles the founder of the association.
