The Monegasque association of Amis de l’Arche, Amadarche, proposes in homage to Jean Vanier who died on May 7th, to project the film which retraces the life of the founder of L’Arche and Foi et Lumière, on Wednesday 12th June at Agora Maison Diocésaine
Three free sessions will be offered next Wednesday, the first at 4pm, then 6pm and finally the last at 8:30pm. Entitled The Sacrament of Tenderness, Frédérique Bedos’s film tells the story of Jean Vanier, today “a prophet, alongside Mother Teresa, Father Pierre and Sister Emmanuelle, in a world dominated by competition, power and money “.
Founded in 2014, the Amadarche presents each year the L’Arche de Coeur, a concert to support the Arche of Jean Vanier in Grasse where are accommodated 30 mentally handicapped adults, including 21 boarders. The benefits of this concert help the community of L’Arche in Grasse.
